Allegiance: Decepticon Function: Torturer "The instrument of pain can play symphonies of enlightment" Profile: Screamweaver has the distinction of being one of the few Decepticons whose actions are deemed extreme and excessive even by his teammates. He is, quite simply, a cruel, sociopathic sadist. He is also brilliant, and so his methods of extracting information from potential sources, both psychologically and physically, are as many and varied as they are twisted. However, interrogation is more often than not a facade for Screamweaver's true intentions. He views the slow destruction of a victim's mind and body as a work of art, and he often "interrogates" captives who are known to have no useful information. It is suspected that he may actually gain something tangible through his sadism, and rumors abound of his "psychic" attunement to extreme emotion. Screamweaver is devoid of compassion, sympathy, or mercy. He is also extremely jealous of anyone more intelligent than himself. This jealousy, combined with his extremely unpleasant behavior, means that he is almost never found in the company of anyone other than underlings and lackeys.
